My life was forever changed in November, 2012.  It was during this month that my annual mammogram showed... you guessed it, breast cancer.  I went through a year of surgeries--double mastectomy, port placement, and breast reconstruction.  6 months of chemotherapy caused me to lose my hair, my strong immunity, and my overall sense that I am a healthy person.

You see, I wasn't supposed to get cancer.  As a nurse and aerobics/yoga instructor, I prided myself in maintaining a healthy weight, not smoking, not drinking excessively, exercising regularly my entire life, and eating MOSTLY healthy!  As I completed treatment, I did some serious research... 

Was there anything I could do to minimize the chance for a cancer recurrence?

   It took a few years, but I finally found an answer... something that not only prevents cancer, but also improves my overall health, and combats the effects of aging!!

I LOVE working for myself!
